If you're already wondering “what's a doomby?”, then you should probably read the first post, titled  “What's doomby, and how do I use it to make a website?”. To save you some time, the ultra condensed version of that post is: doomby's a free website builder, and you can use it to make a website (funnily enough). So what, exactly, can you do with doomby, and how is it going to help you to create a website?

It's not a difficult question to answer, but whenever I try to explain something slightly more complex than “how to put on a hat”, I try to think how I would explain it to my mother.

Not that I'm some sort of Norman Bates-type, as far as I know. I've never even worked in a motel. It's just that if I've always thought that if I say something my mother would understand, then I figure any other literate English-speaker would probably understand too.

• Manage a website: add, change, move or delete the compelling content or pages of your website - yes, you can have more than one page (in fact, with doomby, you can have as many pages as you want), and add text, photos, music and videos (and other super-interesting stuff) to them.

• Get free website hosting: so that people other than you can see it too (which is a rather useful thing), wherever they are in the world, 24/7.

You can use it to make a personal, community or company website. It's entirely up to you how you want to use it, and all the tools you'll need are already online (you don't have to download or install anything).
